課程概述

This is an advanced course in fluid dynamics - a study of motion and forces related to fluids. Applications of fluid dynamics ranges from cars, airplanes and their engines to flow of your blood and urination. To improve your learning, I will add more non-lecture elements to the course and try to make an already interesting topic comes alive.  

課程目標
The objective of the course is the following:
1. Encourage inquisitive spirit;
2. Develop sound understanding of the phsyical principles;
3. Enable analytical skills in problem solving.
 
課程要求
Interested in the subject and motivated to work towards a sound understanding of various aspects.

Fluid mechanics movies are important supplement to the course, and they are freely available at http://web.mit.edu/hml/ncfmf.html. We will see some movies in class and you are encouraged to watch some on your own.
